Abishek Chandrasekar (Abi) is a cinematographer based in Chennai, India, working across feature films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos since 2013.

Projects associated with his work have been showcased at the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase at Cannes, Silicon Beach Film Festival, and Prague Independent Film Festival.

With a background in film production and screenwriting from Santa Monica College, his work draws from both narrative and visual storytelling.

His experience includes collaborations and training opportunities with filmmakers and cinematographers including Santosh Sivan ASC ISC, David Mullen ASC, Bill Bennett ASC, and Paul Cameron ASC.

Alongside freelance cinematography, he runs Kinarri Films, a Chennai-based production company.
